Meet the Instructors

Angel Hinman

Angel Hinman is a local homeschooling mom of four boys. With a background in reading, writing, art and dramaturgy, she brings passion for the written word and creativity to the classroom. Angel graduated from UNC in 2010 with a BA in English Literature. Post graduation she served for ten years in local Pregnancy Care non-profit organizations. She is also the published author of Moments of J.O.Y. Volume One and Anna’s Journey. Her hobbies include design, travel, tree climbing and writing.

Carolyn Kirkman

Carolyn Kirkman graduated with a BA in Interpersonal Communication from UCF in Florida. She has a fascination for languages and has spoken Spanish most of her life. Additionally, she has a love for singing and playing music and has always striven to incorporate music into her daily rhythms. She enjoys teaching both little ones and older students, as well.  She is married and has homeschooled her four children since day one.  They enjoy living in Forbush and share their home with four cats full of personality and one smart dog named Rosie.

  • Cost is $325 per semester class fee plus a $40 facility fee

  • Students attend Thursdays from 9:30-2:00 for 13 weeks

  • Students are assigned to one of two pods and will remain with their pod the entire day. They will switch instructors after lunch

  • Limited to 26 spots (13 in each pod)
